■SLIGHT DECREASE IN TRAFFIC. The traffic returns of New Plymouth tramways for the week ended on Sunday show a slight shrinkage when compared with those for the corresponding jieriod of last year. In the 1927 period the passengers numbered 60,818 and the revenue amounted to £538 17s lid, the decrease? being passengers 2425, revenue £2B 6s. Details for last week are:Passengers. Revenue.
