Tn the first half Gloucester did most of the attacking, but before the interval the visitors secured a try, which was converted. In the second half the Waratahs held the upper hand, playing without A. Tancred, who retired owing to an injury to his shoulder. The Glori rosters’" bad handling was responsible for many missed chances, but nevertheless they scored a dropped goal practically- on time. The Waratahs showed more finish than their opponents, a feature of their game being the fine backing up and co-operation of the forwards in rushes.
