PILLAGING OF CARGO
DUNEDIN WORKER IMPRISONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 11. In the Police Court John George Murray, aged 58, a waterside worker, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment for the theft of goods valued at 4s from the West Nivaria. The Magistrate remarked that he could not overlook the fact that a considerable amount of cargo was stolen during the course of a year. The thieves were seldom punished and for that reason he had to impose a term of imprisonment-,
