GREAT DISPLAY OF STOCK OPENING DAY AT CHRISTCHURCH THE CHAMPIONSHIPS AWARDED. By Teleerarh. —Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The weather was fine but dull for the opening of the Royal .Show to-day. The entry of sheep was a record for Christchurch, well-known breeders from all parte of the Dominion being represented. The entries of cattle and horses were not so numerous as at the Royal Show here in 1925, but the quality wad up to the standard. Leading North Island breeders were well represented in the eattle classes. The entry of pigs is also a record for Christchurch, Following are the championship awards: —: SHEEP CLASSES.
