TARANAKI COMPANY'S ACTIVITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Sept. 13. Taranaki Oil Fields, Ltd., reports: Waipu No. 2 Well.—Depth 2263 feet in grey shale, good showing of gas. Have withdrawn 81-inch casing and found bottom; length missing; now running Bdin. casing and will drill up lost joint or side-track, taking probably about two weeks. Gisborne No. 1 Well.—Depth 535 feet in blue shale.
