A WONDERFUL DISPLAY
MADAME MENERE'S FURS. New Plymouth ladies were promised a treat by the return visit of Madame and Mr. Menere, the noted Christchurch fur merchants, but we very much doubt if any of the hundreds who visited the great exhioition 'of Russian and Canadian furs, which ie being held in the Forestens’s Hall, Gill Street, were prepared to see so many wonderful furs, for truly it is a great display 7. Here are to be seen fur coats, cabaret wraps, necklets, the like of which one reads of, cr sees on the moving pictures. It is hard to pick out any one as being more beautiful than the other, but perhaps pride of place should be given to a , real Alaska seal coat, heavily trimmed with Russian skunk. This is' truly a “dream coat.” There are thousands of pounds’ worth of coats, etc., and all are being sold at under New Zealand wholesale prices. The display will continue until Saturday next. Hours, iO a-m. o 1 p.m.; 2 to 5 evenings, by appointment by ringing Madame at the White Hart Hotel.
