WONDERFUL FURS.
HAWERA LADIES DELIGHT. The fascination of furs was amply I proved in Hawera yesterday, when hundreds visited the display of Russian and Canadian furs which is being held in the Commercial Hotel Sample Rooms, by Madame Menere and Ck>., Ltd., the noted Christchurch furriers. Certainly this is the largest and finest display of rare and beautiful furs ever seen in New Zealand, and all were personally selected by Madame and Mr. Menere during their recent visit to Canada and Russia, which is sufficient guarantee that all are the genuine article, and the beet of their kind procurable. To ladies in search of a new fur, the visit of these expert fur people to Hawera is very opportune, especially as the whole of the stock is being sold at much under the New Zealand prices, which means a saving of many pounds on a single article. Madame Menere and Co. have the distinction of being the only memberein New Zealand of the British Fur Trade Alliance, and are the oldest, established furriers in tie Dominion.
