CHU RESIGNS FROM LEAGUE
JOINS NATIONALIST PARTY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 8, 10.20 p.m. Geneva, July 8. Chu has notified the Secretariat of the League of Nations that he is resigning from the Council; as he has decided to join the Chinese Nationalist Government. The Pelting Government therefore has no representative at Geneva. ‘ When Peking recalled the diplomata from Europe, Chu went to Geneva, and has been representing the Peking Government at his own expense.
