COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Kaitangata arrived at 7 a.m. yeslerday with 500 tons of Westport coal. She is expected to return to Westport at 6 to-night. (U.S.S. Co.) The Totara scheduled to leave Lyttelton to-morrow for Wellington and New Plymouth, and should make port here on Thursday. (U.S.S. Co.) The Corinna, which left Dunedin on Tuesday, is due at New Plymouth on Saturday. (U.S.S. Co.) The Kaimanawa was due to leave Westport with 500 tons of coal yesterday, and Is due here at daybreak to-morrow. She will proceed to Auckland after discharge. (U.S.S. Co.) The Karori will leave Portland to-day with 300 tons of cement for discharge at New Plymouth, and is due on Sunday. She will aftenvards proceed to Westport. (U.S.S. Co.) The John, from Lyttelton, will be at Picton to-day, Wanganui to-morrow and New Plymouth on Saturday. She will return south after discharge. (Holm and Co.) The Progress, from Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, is due at New Plymouth on Monday. She proceeds to Port Waikato and south after discharge. (Holm and Co.). ONEHUNGA SERVICE. With passengers and cargo from Onehunga, the Rarawa is expected at New Plymouth early to-morrow morning. She return’s north at 7 the same evenig, being expected back on Tuesday. ANTONIO AT NEW PLYMOUTH. An arrival at New Plymouth yesterday morn- ' ing was the steamer Antonio with a cargo of case oil from Texas. She left Port Arthur on April 23 and passed through the Panama Canal on May 10. arriving at Auckland on the first of the month. She is expected ta clear ' ixjr-t to-night. Captain A. Direct from Singapore the oil tanker Mallston is due at New Plymouth at any Um© now, and may make port to-day. She is the first steamer to discharge bulk oil Into the now tanks at Moturoa. The New Zealand Exprew Company are the New Plymouth agents for the British Imperial Oil Company, to whom the steamer belongs. WEST CARMONA FROM PACIFIC COAST. Scheduled to load on the Pacific Coast for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth, is the steamer West Carmona. She will 1h? ar Vancouver from July 8 to 14, Seattle July 15 to 20, San Francisco July 24 to 27, and Los ' Angeles July 2 9and 30. Messrs. Newton King Ltd. are the New Plymouth agents. ALTERL’D ARRIVAL DATIMS. Several overseas steamers du* at Now Pfymouth have, through delays, been scredu’etf to arrive later than was nt first expected. The West Nivaria, originally due on Juno 28, Is not expected till July tho Marmarl will now arrive on July 3, not June 30; and the Haggersgfl'te, whose arrival was Indefinite, should make port on Moday. These three steamers are under the agenev of Nowton King Ltd. HAGGERSGATE AT AUCKLAND. The steamer Haggersgate, which arrived ar Auckland from Nauru Is'and on Monday night, is at present unloading 4600 tons of phospha tea. She Is to sail toward tho end of the wcix for New Plymouth to complete discharge. The vessel is owneu by Messrs. Tuiubull. Scot and Company, London, and her usual trade is betwee England and South American ports. On the voyage from Nauru the vessel rolled so heavily in the swell that It was feared the cargo shift and In consequence she was hove to for two hours. Ttie Haggersgate carries a crew of 43 all toll. The officers and seamen are Europeans and the stokers are negroes. Captain J. W. Roadman is In command. Messrs. Newton King Ltd. are ; the local agents. The Waiotapu left Melbourne for Sydney yesterday to complete her discharge. The Wairuna left Sydney on Wednesday for Vanoouver and San Francisco, via Fiji rnd Fanning Island; she is due at Vancouver on July 16. The Waitemata will leave San Francisco on June 19 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Mel- • bourne and Sydney.
