CONTEST AT DANNEVIRKE. MANAWATV SUFFER DEFEAT. By Telegraph.—Press Assoclatl'.n Dannevirke, List Night. The Ruahine-Dannevirke Association’s representatives played the first match of the season for the Nopera Cup with the Manawatu representatives, being successful in 'retaining the cup by four goals to one. Ruahine-Dannevirke had the better of the game throughout the contest. In the B representative match between B teams of the same associations, Ruahine-Dannevirke won by three goals to nil. •
