WORKERS BACK TO TOBACCO
PLAN AGAINST TRADE UNION BILL. PAYMENT TO FUND INITIATED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received June 15, 7 p.m. London, June 14. Labour members of the House of Commons made the suggestion that workers should a’ stain for six months from the use of alcohol and tobacco as a protest against the Trade Union Bill, but this has been abandoned in favour of a scheme by which the workers will contribute a fixed proportion of th wages in order to continue the resistance to the Bill.
