CONVERSION OF CARS
PENALTIES AT DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, June 6. In the Police Court, Percy Delamore Loughrey and Francis Victor Hyder appeared for sentence on charges connected with the taking of several motor-cars, one being damaged to the extent of £lB. Hyder was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment. Loughrey was sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car. On a charge of converting a car to his own use, he was admitted to probation for eighteen months.
