LENGTH OF MESSAGES INCREASED. By Telegrrpn.—Press Association. Wellington, June 7. The Acting Postmaster-General (the Hon. R. A. Wright) announces, in connection with the news broadcast each evening from Awanui to ships at eea, that in future the length of the messages will be increased from 200 to about 500 words.
