AUCTIONEER’S NOTE.—This is Mr. Bates’ first sale after 18 years farming at Bell Block. His stock are in beautiful condition and have been most carefully handled. The herd contains a percentage of Jerseys and ar e all real good milking sorts and the heifers are selected from the best cows, being by “Maori Gold Dust.” The horses and pigs can be recommended and farmers wanting implements and sundries in the best order can obtain them at this sale.
