DISCOVERY IN LIMESTONE QUARRY By Telegraph.— Press Association. Whangarei, April 8. When engaged at the Waro limestone quarry workmen removed six specimens of lime rock in which were embedded fossilised bones and eggshells of a moa. This is the first discovery of its kind. Wilson’s Cement Company are placing three of the exhibits in the local museum and three in the Auckland Museum.
