TARANAKI BREWERY & CORDIALS, LTD.

Rumours have for some time been current of a proposal to convert Paul’s Brewery into a limited liability company. This has now taken concrete form, and Mr. Giesen, a well-known sharebroker of Hawke’s Bay, has the work in hand. Arrangements have been made to take over the assets of th € brewery and cordial factory at some £3OOO less than the value placed upon them by independent valuers. The full prospectus is in the printers’ hands and copies will be obtainable from all local sharebrokers. The prospectus discloses the exceptional dividends that may be expected from brewing and the manufacture of cordials. When Paul’s beer was considered the best in Taranaki it w r as brewed from the spring water obtained in the basement of the brewery. This water is still available, although it has not been tised for many years. Analysis discloses the suitability of this spring water for brewing, and experts consider that by using this water there will be no difficulty in bringing the beer back to its original high quality. It is proposed to offer 12,000 £1 shares to the public on easy payments. It should be borne in mind that this is not a gamble, but a sound investment, and as applications for at least 6000 of the shares available are in sight investors should obtain their prospectuses immediately.— (Published by arrangement.) •
