WESTFIELD MARKETS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Westfield sale there was an average yarding of beef, prices being very firm at last week’s rates. A line of extra choice light-weight heifers, on account of G. Alley, Katikati, averaged £6 2s 6d. Extra choice ox sold” to 27s per 1001 b; choice and prime ov, 24s to 265; “just killable” ox, 21s to 235; prime young cow and heifer beef, 235; “just killable,” 20s to 225. Sheep.—An average yarding, there being little or no change in values. Extra heavy prime wethers (shorn), made £1 6s 9d; heavy prime wethers, £1 4s 6d to £1 5s 9d; medium wethers, £'l 3s to £1 4s; light and unfinished wethers, £1 to £1 2s fid; heavy prime ewes, 17s 6d to 19s 3d; lighter, 14s to 16s fid; other ewes, 9s to 12s fid. Lambs.—A normal yarding, selling at late rates. Heavy prime lambs made £1 3s to £1 4s 6d; medium prime lambs, £1 0s Cd to £1 2s Cd; light prime lambs, £1 Is to £1 2s. Calves. —A good yarding. Good quality calves sold under good competition, but inferior were not wanted. Runners made £2 3s to £2 13s; heavy vealers, £3 5s to £3 12s* medium vealers, £1 10s to £2 4s; light vealers, £2 4s to £2 9s; rough vealers, 9s to 12s; fresh dropped, 4s to I'fis. Pigs.—A small yarding, values being unchanged. Choppers made £3 to £4 4s; heavy baconers, £3 8s to £3 13s; medium, £3 to £3 4s;; heavy porkers, £2 14s to £3; medium porkers, £2 Ils to £2 13s; light porkers, £2 3s to £2 10s. THE SHARE MARKETS.
