ASSISTANTS DISLIKE POSITION. By Telegraph.—Press Ascodation. Pahiatua, Last Night. It is reported that a good deal of dissatisfaction is being expressed throughout the district by dairy factory assistants, who were recently placed under an award of the Arbitration Court, it being found that, under the award, the position of an assistant is not nearly so secure as was the case previously. It is stated that a number of assistants have already resigned from membership of union and many others have declined to nay up the subscription.
