THREE PASSENGERS IN HOSPITAU By Telegraph.— Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 81. A motor lorry returning with a picnlo party broke away while descending th* hill at Akatarawa yesterday owing to the brakes failing and crashed down a bank. Three of the passengers were admitted, to the hospital. Mrs. Eliza, beth Tapp, aged 26, suffered severe injuries to her back and shock. Her condition is reported as serious. Walter and Vivian Sicly received severe abrasions and shock.
