DISPUTE WITH BUTCHERS
SETTLEMENT AT WAINGAWA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, Jan. 7. Inquiry made in official quarters at the ’ meat works this morning elicited the information that an agreement had "been reached between the Company and the butchers satisfactory to both sides, and that work was proceeding normally. This means that the 50 butchers engaged before the dispute have resumed work. The free labourers who were slaughtering have returned home.
