COMPETITION AT SHOWS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. - London, Jan. 5. As the result of Sir James Parr’s negotiations Mr. Gerald Loder has pret rented a valuable silver challenge cup for competition at the chief shows in New Zealand, with a view to encouraging the preservation of native bush and flora. A competition will be arranged by trustees, consisting of the Minister of Agriculture and two recognised botanists. Mr. Lftder presented the cup to Mr. Coates, who ie conveying it to New Zealand.
