Most of the wellkuow'n New Zealand players are competing. Haege (Victoria) also competed. In the men’s singles, D. G. France (Wellington) beat N. Lampe (Wanganui) in the final. Mrs. W. J. Melody (Wellington) beat Miss Powdrell (Wanganui) in the semifinal of the ladies’ singles. In the ladies* doubles, Miss Calver and Miss 'Myers (Wanganui) beat Mrs. Melody and Mrs. Brown. In the final of the combined doubles, Miss Myers and Wheeler (Wanganui) beat Miss Calver and Christie (Wanganui).
