LINER CROSSES MEDITERRANEAN. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 2, 5.5 p.m. Alexandria, Dee. 31. Sir Samuel and Lady Hoare’s aeroplane crossed the Mediterranean at a height of 50 feet. Emmot, the cinematographer, missed the liner at Malta, and his absence was not perceived until the aeroplane started.
