LATE SHIPPING.
An unexpected arrival off the port last night was the British Imperial Oil Company’s steamer Anamfba with a cargo of benzine for discharge. She anchored in the stream at 7.30, and wMI be berthed this morning. After unloading she will sail for Wellington.
Word was received in New Plymouth yesterday afternoon that the steamer Bronnoy, direct from Texas, had been diverted to this port from Wanganui as she was drawing too great a depth to berth there. She is bringing sulphur from Galveston for discharge at Wanganui, Geelong, Adelaide, Port Pirie and Port Lincoln.
