ITALIAN-GERMAN TREATY
ATTACK ON MUSSOLINI, By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, Dec. 29. Coincidentally with the signature ot the Italian Treaty, several newspapers made bitter attack on Signor Mussolini. The Vossische Zeitung accuses him of playing France against Germany, and vice versa, oflYring each a treaty against the other. The Vorwaertz declares the treaty is especially necessary, owing to Italy’s belligerent tendencies, but political cooperation will be only possible when Italy returns to a civilised regime. Every document signed by Signor Mussolini savours of blood, force, and barbarism."! :■ ; .’1
