She is to berth at fflx o'clock this morning, and will load cheese for transhipment to the Tongariro at Wellington, ‘sailing for that port to-morow. Her further movements are now indefinite. (U.S.S. Co.). The Ngakuta has wirelessed that she expects to reach New Plymouth at six o'clock this morning from Portland. She will discharge 410 tons of cement and will sail at three o’clock this afternoon for Wellington and Lvtte’.ton. (U.S.S. Co.). The Titoki has been further delayed and will not now reach New Plymouth until to-night from Westport, to which port she returns after discharging 300 tons of coal. (Cock and Co.). The Totara is due at Wellington to-day from Timaru and afterwards sails for New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow. She sails from here for Tarakohe. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kittawa was scheduled to load at Oer.vmouth yesterday for New Plymouth, Miramar, and Wellington. She is due here to-morrovV to discharge 125 tons of timber. (U.S.S. Co-). The John was scheduled to load at Dunedin 5 , for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui. She Is now due at New Plymouth next Wednesday. (Holm and Co.). WAIOTAPU AT VANCOUVER. The Union Company's trans-Paeific cargo Kteamer Waiotapu is reported to have reached Vancouver from Apia last Saturday. She is to

load at Vancouver, Powell River, Ocean Fails, Union Bay and San Franalsco for Papeete. Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and probably Melbourne. PORT MELBOURNE DUE TO-DAY. Messrs. Collett and Co. advise that the C. and D. steamer Port Melbourne left Lyttelton at noon yesterday for New Plymouth, where she is due this afternoon. She is to be berthed at 4 o'clock at the Moturoa wharf and is expected to be In port until Tuesday completing her discharge of London cargo. Bh? sails from here for Auckland to complete discharge, and commence loading for Home. She also loads at Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Wellington and a South Island port, ana is to be dispatched for England about the middle of January. PORT CAMPBELL’S PORTS OF CALL. Due at Auckland from Tasmania on January 21 to commence loading for England, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Pert Campbell will continue loading at Timant, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington. From Wellington she will sail for London about February 9. DEWEY FROM PACIFIC COAST. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., advise that the American steamer Dewey is scheduled to leaie Wellington on Monday night at the earliest for Nfw Plymouth, where she is due on Tuesday morning. The vessel loaded her cargo nt Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and San Pedro, clearing the lastnamed port on November 12. After calling at New Plymouth the Dewey will. proceed to Melbourne. Sjdnev and Brisbane. Later she will go to the East. MAHANA FROM WELLINGTON. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., advise that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana Is expected to be despatched from Wellington this afternoon for New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow morning to complete discharge of her London cargo, which will take about four days. STROMA'S DEPARTURE. The steamer Stroma, at present discharging phosphates from Nauru Island at New Plymouth, is expected to be dispatched for Westport to-night to bunker before proceeding to Australia. DEVON’S COMPLETE ITINERARY. From Australia, the Federal S.N. Company’s steamer Devon Is due at New Plymouth on December 31 to commence loading for New York. Boston and .West of England ports. She will also load at Waganul, Auckland, Gisborne. Lyttelton, Wellington and Napier, and is scheduled to clear the last-nretioncd port on January 31.

The Rarawa is scheduled to arrive at Now Plymouth ealy to-morrow morning with pan gengers and cargo from Onehunga, to which port she returns at about eight o’clock to morrow night. She is then due back at New Plymouth early on Tuesday morning. MATAROA'S MAIDEN VOYAGE. On her maiden voyage to New Zealand. th<« Shaw’, Savill Company's new liner Mataroa arrived at Wellington early on Monday morning from London and Southampton via Panama, after a fast and uneventful voyage. The voyage was thoroughly enjoyed by all, there being a varied programme of sports and eotertainments for the enjoyment of passengers. A number of dances were Hold in the verandah cafo to the music of the ship’s orchestra, while the bi-weekly programme of popular cinematograph films was very much appreciated. Another notable success was the staging of the play, "The Last of Mrs. Brainey,’* the author of which, Mr. C. R. Allen, was a passenger. OVERSEAS MOVEMENTS.
