THEFT BY YOUTHS
ONE CARRIES REVOLVER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 14. Before the magistrate to-day, two youths, William Alfred Meagher and Jack Sydney Valentine Bott, pleaded guilty and were committed for trial on several charges of breaking and entering and theft. Meagher was also charged with carrying a pistol and was fined £lO in default one month’s imprisonment. A constable gave evidence that he arrested Meagher in the act of breaking into a shop. In his possession was a torch and a revolver fully loaded.
