YOUNG MAN DROWNED

RANGITIKEI FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Feilding, Last Night. Reginald Morgan Evans, aged 23, a single man, was drowned at Tangimoana, at the mouth of the Rangitikei River this morning. He was bathing with two brothers named Simpson. He swam across the river and was returning when he sank. The police have been dragging the rivet all day without result. Evans resided in the Bulls district. His father is in England and his mother is dead. No other relatives are known.

At the inquest a verdict was returned of found drowned, there being no evidence to show how he got into the water.
