NEWS CHRISTMAS NUMBER

SPECIAL ISSUE ON FRIDAY The ordinary issue of the Daily Mews next Friday will be accompanied by a special Christmas supplement of 16 pages, containing several new and original features. In every page the Christmas spirit predominates. While original stories, woven about the Romance in life that appeals se strongly to all human beings, and other articles of a semiserious or thoughtful nature, make it an interesting one for adults, the supplement is in many respects a children’s one, and for young people the bright pictorial contributions and fantastic fairy tales will provide many an hour of amusement and instruction. Apart from the usual articles by students and writers within the Dominion, and the jests, puzzles and so on that lighten the heart or keep the mind busy, there are new features such as articles and illustrations by leading British writers and artists, and a Specially exclusive article will be the children’s story by the beautiful and well'known Queen of Roumania. The winners of the various short story and original drawing competitions will be announced in the ordinary issue on Friday, morning. These desirous of obtaining extra copies of Friday’s paper should place their orders with their agents as scon as possible.
