BOLSHEVIK DESECRATION

BRITAIN AS CLEARING HOUSE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Dec. 12. The Daily Mail states that the So* viet is using Great Britain as a clearing bouse for the spoils of Bolshevik vandalism and desecration. A Russian steamer arrived at London from Ixmingrad and unloaded 200 tons of broken bronze, some remnants of church bells and organ pipes, which the Soviet autharities removed and broke up, as churches are no longer used for worship. The bronze was consigned to a French firm and transhipped to London owing to fear of resentment at a French port if it were known that it came from Russia.
