MISS OWEN DOSES CASE._ By Telegraph—P-ess Assn.—Copyright. London, Dec. 10. The Nortbclifle case was dismissed. Mr. Jowitt announced that he had advised Miss Owen to agree to judgment for defendants with costs. London, Dec. 11. Eighteen counsel, of whom nine arc K.C.’s, including Sir J. Simon, with three specials requiring additional fees to enter the court, six firms of solicitors and a small army r e shorthand writers, are all awaiting payment for the Northeliffe shares suit. Nine K.C.’s receive one thousand guineas each, and five ot them refreshers of one hundred guineas each, and the remainder fifty guineas each daily. The fees of ten junior counsel receiving two-thirds of the fees of their leading solicitors have not yet been determined, though they are /ery heavy. The fees of the sliorthanrt writers and printers alone will be eno--mous. Transcripts were sent daliy tthe printers and were ready in the evening in booklet form. The number of persons directly engaged in the case not only filled the court but overflowed the corridors and passages. Estimates of the costs range from twenty-five thousand to forty thousand pounds stealing,
