FOUR ACTRESSES BURNER
TERRIBLE FIRE IN ROME BLAZE IN A MUSIC HALL. AUDIENCE STAMPEDES IN PANIC Br Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 12. 5.5 p.m. Rome, Dec. 10. Four actresses were burned to death at the Apollo Music Hall. The fire, due to a short circuit, started on the stage at the height of the performance and within a few seconds the entire hall wae ablaze. The audience succeeded in escaping by various exits. The roar of the flames and screams of the women were heard in the adjoining Elisio Theatre, where an audience of a thousand became panicstrieken. and stampeded. They were quickly reassured there was no danger, and marched from the theatre to the tune of the Royal March. The actresses, one of whom was a German, had left the stage and were trapped in the dressing rooms.
