BROWN COAL FIELDS
THE LACK OF RESEARCH. By Telegraph—Press Assn —Copyright. London, Dec. 9. Addresicg the Institute of Fuel Technology, Sir R. A. S. Redmayne pointed out that there had been little research affecting brown coal, considering the possibilities of the vast deposits within the Empire. He described the Zatrobe Valley, Victoria, as the most remarkable in the world, though the New Zealand field was also most valuable.
