She is due at New Plymouth to-morrow from that port to load 8000 boxes of butter and 7000 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Tongariro at Wellington. She will then return to New Plymouth to load butter for the Tongariro and butter and cheese for the Huntingdon, both at Wellington. The Totara is scheduled to load at Timaru to-day for New Plymouth, via Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here about next Friday. (U.S.S. Co.). The Opihi is to load at Dunedin next Wednesday for New Plymouth, via the usual ports, She is due here about December 22. (U.S.S. Co.). The Ngakuta is scheduled to leave Portland to-night (for Nev,' Plymouth, where she s due either on Wednc,lay night or Thursday morning with cement. She afterwards sails for Wellington and Lyttelton. (U.S.S. Co.). The Progress was expected at New Plymouth yesterday from Dunedin, via Wellington, but had not arrived late last night. After discharging here she sails for the Waikato. (Holm and Co.). A WARNING TO MARINERS. The Customs Department has been advised as follows: Cable buoy, to which red flag with white centre attached, moored Oteran'gi Bay, 146y 2 deg. true, distant 2.6 miles from ICwri Rock light. PORT MELBOURNE’S CONSIGNMENT. The C. and D. steamer Port Melbourne, due at New Plymouth next Monday from London, via YVelllngton and Lyttelton, will discharge about 13*00 tons of general cargo and load 6000 boxes of butter and 5000 crates of cheese for Home. INTER COLONIAL CARGO SERVICE. The Waipori loads at Adelaide and Melbourne during the last week in December for New Plymouth, Wellington, Auckland and Portland. Steamer loads at Newcastle early in January for New Plymouth, Picton, Nelson and Wellington, and at Sydney if sufficient inducement offers. Steamer leaves Melbourne during January for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth, GALLIC’S ALLOTMENT. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., advise that the Gallic, due at New Plymouth on December 22 direct from Australia, will load here 10,000 boxes of butter and 16,200 freight carcases o*f meat. DEWEY’ FROM PACIFIC COAST. The American steamer Dewey, now at Auckland, is due at New Plymouth about Monday 'next to discharge 1050 tons of Pacific Coast car*go before sailing for Melbourne, Brisbane, China, Japan and the Pliillipines. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMERS. The Canadian Spinner, due at Auckland at an early date from Halifax, has a cargo of general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. Also, with cargo from Halifax for the same ports in New Zealand, the Canadian Planter is expected at Auckland, about January 8. The Auckland office of the Canadian Government Line has received advice that a steamer leaving Halifax in January, will bring cargo for discharge at Napier, as well as the usual discharging ports. The Canadian Commander, which sailed from Auckland on November 3 for New York, Boston and Halifax, is reported to have reached New York last Wednesday. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa is due at New Plymouth early to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo from Ohehung-a.
