A DREAM REALISED
ENDING OF A BODY. A TANGARAKAU INCIDENT, (From Our Own Correspondent.) The body of little Pat Duggan, who was drowned in the Rakahua River hast Saturday week, was recovered on Wednesday last, a little below the powerhouse, some two to three hundred yards front the scene of the accident. A most remarkable circumstance in connection with the finding of the body was that a Maori named Tonga O'Carrol dreamed the night previous that the body- was lying in a hole at the exact spot where it was eventually found. The next morning he retailed the coincidence to several of his fellow workmen ami they decided to search the locality. Accordingly, with O'Carrol they proceeded to tlie spot, and there found the body •jf the child quite in the same manner as had been revealed in the dream. All the circumstances are vouched for by O’Carrol’s mates, and it is just another of the many remarkable eases on record of a dream being realised.
