Frewin. who came third, rode a great race considering that he is only 14 years of age. Trophies for the race were awarded by the following: Gold medal for' first rider to finish, K. V. Lawson; gold medal for second rider to finish, anonymous; silver medal for fastest time, donated by club. Frewin was awarded a special medal for his meritorious performance. The officials of the club who controlled the race were: Judge, Mr. C. Blake; starter, Mr. W. E. Eagar: handicapper, Mr. H. Julian; time-keeper, Mr. A, H. Codd.
