UNLICENSED LORRY
CARTERTON DRIVER FINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Carterton, Dec. 8. In the Police Court this morning, before justices, Charles Robert Leighton was charged with driving a two-ton / motor-lorry without it being licensed. He was fined £5 and his driver’* license cancelled for twelve months. Two further charges of driving a lorry without number plates and negligent driving were also preferred ugrtinst him. He was convicted and discharged on each.
