INDECENT PICTURES
FINE FOR SELLING AND EXPOSING. By Telegraph.—Press AiuocUtfoß. Christchurch, Dec. 8. Edwin J. i earon pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to selling cigarette cases with indecent pictures on the outside, and with exhibiting them in his shop window. The defence said the cases had been bought from warehouses and were the same as sold in London and Sydney. Fearon was fined £5 on the first charge and convicted and discharged on the second.
