The Rugby Leagile Council discusseS the agreement with the Australian Board and the New Zealand League jn respect to the two years’ residential qualification. The matter was def erred till the next meeting on December 12. The meeting also considered Australia’s invitation to send a team in 1928, and. appointed a sub-<nminittee to discuss matters of mutual interest with the New Zealand manager before his departure by the Cathay on January 28. LEAGUE TOURING TEAM. London. Nov.’24. Early in the second half of the match against Keighley, Thorpe gave a pass to Craven, who sei-med Keighley’s only try. New Zealand then re-attacked, Carroll and Mouat obtaining tries, Mount converting his own. Delgrosso and Davidson exhibited some admirable individual play. Although the New Zealanders were in good form. Keighley was without several of its regular players, and gener. ally gave a poor display. The receipts were £293.
