MURDER AND SUICIDE.
TRAGEDY IN VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 10, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, Oct. 10. George Welsh, 36 years of age, fatally shot his daughter Violet, aged six, and then committed suicide at Geelong West. Welsh, who had been unemployed for some time, took his daughter with him when he went rabbit shooting, and later the bodies were discovered in a paddock.
