AWARUA TO BE SURVEYED.

DETAINED AT NAPIER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Sept. 2?. The Awarua, which was to have sailed for Wellington to-day. is detained for the purpose of a Government survey. The vessel is to go into the inner harbour and be put on the slip if necessary. Mariners assert that the Awarua will pass easily.
