MR. KING WANTS POSTPONEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Sept. 20. A message from Ottawa states that Mr. Mackenzie King has intimated that he cannot attend the Imperial Conference unless it is postponed till November. He expects to assume the Premiership on Friday, then must return to his constituency, Prince -Albert, for reelection, the same as the other Ministers, in a By-election. He says: “I wish to be firmly seated as Prime Minister, in fact as well as in name, before proceeding to London.” The Daily News has been authoritatively informed that the conference open's on October 10, irrespective of Mr. King’s presence or absence.
