MUSIC EXAMINATIONS.
NEW PLYMOUTH RESULTS. Music examinations were conducted in New Plymouth last week by Dr. T. Haigh, representing the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, London. The following’ candidates were successful: - Licentiate examination. —Miss Mary Coleman. LOCAL CENTRE. Advanced grade.—Mary Crawshaw. hon. mention (New Plymouth Convent). Intermediate grade. - Gwendoline Stafford (Mrs. A. H. Fredric, L.A.8.) SCHOOL ]•: XAMIN AT lONS. Higher.—Marie McDonald (New Plymouth Convent). Lower.—Celia Campbell (Miss M. Coleman); Delores Jellyman, violin (Miss E. L. Dowling); Ida W. Hansen, Christina Stewart (Mrs. K. Black, Mokau); Marion Squire (Mrs. L. A. Cooper, L.A.8.); Elizabeth Gilhooly, (Nstinction, Ivy Corbett (New Plmoutli Convent). Elementary.—Joan Ross (Miss M. Coleman); Phyllis Lyall (Mrs. A.
