TRAIN AND LORRY COLLIDE.
DRIVER’S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE

Waipawa, Last Night
As the Wellington express was pulling into the station this afternoon the engine caught a motor-lorry, driven by a lad named Rex Witherow and carried it some distance before it pulled up. Witherow was thrown out, but miraculously escaped serious injury. The lorry was wrecked.
