DEMPSEY-TUNNEY FIGHT. NEWS FROM TRAINING CAMPS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Sept. 3, 11.15 p.m. New York, Sept. 2. With the fight three weeks away a great deal of interest is being centred in the training camps of Dempsey and Tunney. The champion’s quarters are the scene of feverish activity, it being not unusual for him to knock out four sparling partners every day. He announces he now weighs 189 pounds and is not making any effort to reduce bis weight for this fight. Tunney tips the scale at 190 pounds and says he will enter the ring at his natural weight. The champion is confident he is fast enough for Tunney without being any ■ lighter, and will be more effective in punching with the extra weight he will carry. Tunney .whom observers declare has worked himself a bit line, has decided to intersperse a long period of rest with work, boxing only three or four days a week. The challenger believes he will win within three rounds. The odds, however, are against him, being from 11 to 5 to two to 1 on Dempsey.
