ROUMANIA AND SOVIET.
TEN YEARS TREATY PROPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Sept. 3, 8.40 p.m. Bucharest, Sept. 3. The Government has sent a Note to the Soviet proposing a ten years aggression treaty providing also for the preservation of peace on the eastern frontiers. Russia so far has not replied, but Roumanian diplomats believe she will agree, because the treaty does not entail Russia’s acquiescence in Roumania’s annexation of Bessarabia.
