A New York cable announces that Rudolph Valentino's condition hail improved on 'Tuesday. The film star is suffering from peritonitis. The death of Mrs. Grace Neill, the first assistant Inspector of Hospitals in New Zealand, at the age of 80 yean, is announced in a Press Assoeation message from Wellington. Miss Warner has resigned her position on the New Plymouth telephone exchange staff to return to her home in Gisborne.
