CENSORSHIP OF FILMS.
NEW VICTORIAN LAW. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Melbourne, Aug. 18. The Legislative Council passed the Film Censorship Bill. The provisions include that every programme must provide at least a thousand feet of British film. The Bill also empowers the censor to make it a condition precedent to passing any particular film that children under 16 shall not be admitted io any place of amusement where it is exhibited.
