The Daily Mail states that Mr. Lloyd George’s latest America article, urging the Liberals to rally to him in preference to Lord Oxford, has angered the “official gang,” who are making efforts to heal the Liberal breach. Lord Cowdray refused to comment when invited to speak with regard to the £1,000,000 offered to the Liberal Party if Mr. Lloyd George was not associated therewith.
