USE OF MANUAL LANGUAGE. London, Feb. 12. ' versatile King’s counsel, Mr. G. i «>rn Drury, recorder of Dover, solved the problem of dealing with a stonedeaf plaintiff in a case in the King’s Bench Division by interpreting his junior's question, giving them in the deaf and dumb manual language. The plaintiff, who is a rich landowner, was th© reverse of dumb, and halfdeafened the Court by bellowing his answers to the questions.
